The Brighton Beach Huts might just be Melbourne’s biggest icon – sure it may not be huge next to the Opera House, but it’s the little things about Melbourne that make it – it’s not obvious or in your face. And even though you may have to sell a kidney to even close to owning one of the huts (they can be worth just as much as an expensive house in some cases!) sitting on their steps is free – and so is taking a picture, lucky for me!
