Introducing Your New ‘Editor In Charge’!

Wow – what a difference a couple of years make. This time two years ago I had just started this site and was frantically trying to build a life for myself outside of a miserable job – and at the same time, trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and who I really was. What a whirlwind it has been! The past few months have made me realize just how far I’ve come with figuring these important questions out, and I’m so happy to say I feel like I’ve achieved exactly what I set out to do with this website – find my calling, go after it, and have some purpose in my life by the time I turned 30. Now, with my 31st birthday looming, its full steam ahead with future business and investing plans, networking, training and reading as many business books as one can read around all of the above! This website gave me an identity when all I felt like was a number at a company I didn’t care about, and gave me a reason and accountability to change that. I’m so grateful for the readers, followers, supporters and anyone else who’s helped me along the way – thank you! This is all starting to sound a bit depressing isn’t it? Well, I have some exciting news! So…what now you ask? Well, I am so happy and excited to introduce you to someone you’ll be getting to know a hell-of-a lot better in the coming months – Katie, your new editor in chief at WSW, and owner of the site! I have known for a few months now that it was becoming increasingly difficult for me to give this site the attention and love it needs to carry it forward, and I must say I couldn’t be happier that Katie will be taking the site forward and sharing her journey of travels, entrepreneurship and a life less ordinary with you in the future. Katie and I have been chatting online for a couple of months now and I honestly couldn’t think of a better person to take this site forward and continue to grow it and nurture it in the future. I also had the pleasure of meeting Katie when she was recently in London and we finalized our plans for how this was going to work. (Katie is also an Aussie, so of course she is going to be a great fit for the site!)

Nicole & Katie

So…how exactly will this work?! Well – Katie will be your new WSW author, editor and owner – sharing with you her stories as she travels the world and builds her business empire from Australia. I will still be present on the site as the founder of WSW, and will be stopping by every now and then to share my updates and any useful business tidbits that I pick up along the way. I’ve always hated goodbyes – and since this isn’t goodbye –I will just say a big thank you to everyone who follows the blog and leave you in Katie’s very capable hands. You’ll be hearing from her soon to introduce herself and let you all know a little more about her plans for the future and what’s led here to where she is today. See you soon! N x
