You see so many interesting people in India, and I was fascinated in particular with all the kids who would follow and talk to us while we were exploring the streets of Mumbai.
These girls made me laugh – they followed us for a good few hundred metres giggling, but when we turned around to speak to them they were so serious. I asked if I could take a photo of them and they seemed very excited, yet when I when to take it they again looked as though they had seen a ghost! They seemed happy with the finished shot though, so we shook hands and we’re both back on our merry ways again… I love that about India – you never know who you’ll meet once you step out the door.
