The Best Outsourcing Websites For Location Independent Entrepreneurs

location independent

Some days I wish that there were 12 more hours in the day to get done what I need to, but unfortunately that is never going to be the case. So, apart from cloning yourself, what’s the best way to free up some extra time so that you can achieve your daily, weekly and monthly goals? Outsourcing! It’s been a bit of a buzz-word over the last few years, especially with the explosion of the 4-Hour Work Weekand people wanting the freedom to work from anywhere in the world and able to manage their business whether it be on the bench, beach, or bar!

Since ramping up my blog in the last couple of months I’ve been utilising outsourcing sites to help with time-consuming tasks like SEO and link building, which allows me more time for writing useful content and interacting with readers and the community on twitter.

I’ve always struggled with delegation as I can be a bit of a perfectionist, but after trying these sites I love the time I get back, and I can make sure things are done to the standard I would like, so it is really a win/win!

Here are the best outsourcing websites for location independent entrepreneurs –

Fiverr – This is a great site if you have a quick project you would like completed, such as article writing or link building – People list all of the tasks they will perform for $5, so you can search through your wanted area, or alternatively you can list the task you would like completed. Payment and communication is very simple and done through the site, and so far my results with this site have been great.

Elance – Probably the most well-known and popular outsourcing site – Elance is easy to use, professional looking and great for tracking progress using their smart phone app. To hire a someone for a project its free to sign up and they have detailed user agreements protecting your money and business.

Replace Myself – Specifically focused on outsourcing to the Philippines, this is the site to use if you are on a strict budget, as prices for certain tasks start at $2.50, and full-time staff for as little as $250 per month. The CEO of the company is big on training his staff, and as such he has built a huge list of clients as well as being endorsed by some Fortune 100 companies.

Rent A Coder – This site focuses on web projects, so if you need help building a site, or with a web-based program this site is a good place to start. You simply list what it is you want done and freelancers from all around the world will then bid on your project, and you select the one which best suits your needs – whether that is cost, or experience.

  1. Great tips! I’m like you and find it hard to let you go on certain work but it’s the only way really.

I’ve had some problems with some people at fiverr in the past although the company itself have refunded me on such occassions and its great for one off quirky things. I’d also throw into the mix O desk which is great for sourcing writers and coders as and when needed. And if you really want to stay on top of everything I just started using a tool called Action Enforcer which helps you manage the tasks through your day. Still getting a hang of it but so far so good.

Now if only I could down to that 4 hour a day dream scenario!

    Cheers
    Josh

Hi Josh – thanks, I haven’t heard of Action Enforcer before, sounds like a useful tool. I have heard a few people saw that about Fiverr, but I’ve only ever had positive experiences…good to know though! Thanks for stopping by! : )

  3. I would be really interested to find out what Fiverr gigs you have used in relation to link building. As I have dabbled on Fiverr but the gigs I have tried seemed a bit of a waste of time. For example I have tried social link building gigs but it seems the supplier just spams your link with some type of automated tool (which brings no real social traffic and just spammy looking links). And another gig I tried the supplier just used the automated scrapebox tool to spam hundreds of blog comments with my link (and we all know how blog owners hate that type of spam comment) so again that was worthless and just makes any links look very spammy.
So if you can let me know what gigs you have found and used that are not spammy like the ones I have mentioned I would be very gratefull. Also what positive results you have seen from the gigs (if any).
Thanks for any advise you can offer regarding Fiverr gigs 🙂
