Photo Of The Week – The Colours Of A Moroccan Souk

Moroccan Souk

Morocco is one colourful country – from the terracotta desert sands to the bright fabrics sold in a souk in Marrakech, everywhere you turn it’s aesthetically appealing.

If you happen to be keen on travel photography, then bump this place to the top of your list – some of my most cherished travel snaps were taken here and I cant wait to go back to take some more one day! I especially loved wandering through the souks and taking in the wonderful pinks, turquoises and yellows – a fantastic way to escape the sometimes grey existence us city dwellers feel and spend some time in the summer sun!

  1. This photo reminds me of a post I read earlier this week I want to say it was of a Moroccan FleaMarket or something similar. It had the shoes arranged in the same way and the colors were about the same. Great photo! Bright colors though i dont know I could get use to wearing those.
