Having grown up in a country with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world I never thought I’d be hugely impressed by a beach in Europe – but when I visited Barcelona last year that’s exactly what I was.
Crystal clear water, soft sand and a view that lasts for miles – my idea of heaven! And the best way to take all of this stunning scenery in? By cable car of course! I’ve never been one for heights, but this was worth my sweaty palms and thumping heart – the ride takes you from the beach right up to Montjuic mountain where you can wander through the idyllic Costa i Llobera Gardens or to the Olympic Village.
After all this excitement you’ll no doubt need some more beach action, so you can jump back on the cable car and do it all over again on the way down!
